About This Personality Test
This website provides a short, independent 20-question personality-type quiz. The questions compare everyday preferences and produce a four-letter result using the familiar pairs Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling and Judging/Perceiving.
How the result is calculated
Each True/False answer contributes to one side of one preference pair. At the end, the accumulated preferences are combined into a four-letter result such as ISTJ, ENFP or INTP. The result is best treated as a starting point for reflection, not as a diagnosis or a permanent label.
What the result cannot tell you
A short online quiz cannot determine your abilities, intelligence, mental health, career suitability or future success. People also behave differently across situations and can identify with traits commonly associated with more than one profile.
Why we keep the traditional profile pages
The site has long-standing descriptions of all 16 four-letter profiles. We preserve those legacy descriptions because they are part of the site's history, while adding clearer context about their limitations. Career examples and personality adjectives on those pages are broad generalizations rather than professional guidance.
